Launching of first district official website www.bau.com.my in the state

The Bau website (www.bau.com.my), was officially launched by Dr. Tiki lafe, the Deputy Minister for National Unity and Social Development,  at the Bau Civic Centre on 28th May 2001. The website will serves as a useful tool in promoting tourism in Bau district by providing information on its interesting historical background, geographical features, natural heritage, tourists attraction as well as up-to-date events happening in Bau.  In-addtion, the website will also help to arouse the interest of the people in Information Communication Technology,   especially among the younger generation.
